This is terrible. Patients are getting confused, not showing up, they think we changed their appointment time when multiple text and emails say different appointment times. Lighthouse would only send out one text reminding patients for the first appointment of the day, NOT both. Ex. If Patient has an appointment for a cleaning with hygienist and then exam with doctor after. Patient Engage is sending out 2 appointment times and confusing/frustrating patients. This needs to be fixed or allow the option to only send out 1 text/email with time of first appointment of that day.
In my office, in the status of the appointment, we have one labeled Multi. That one is set up with the hub that it won't send out confirmations for that appointment. Dentrix will think that it is already confirmed. This also allows staff to see that there is another appointment for that patient on that day.
