If you could post a virtual credit card payment to the insurance eob when a patient calls you can see right away what the payment was for and which claim it was for. It would make it alot easier for staff to inform the patient and you would be able to see right away which insurance claim the payment if for. Now you have to go to dentrix pay and run the credit card payment which does post to the ledger but then you have to research when a patient call which claim it is for

When entering a virtual credit card payment when posting to the enter insurance payment for a claim the payment type drop down allows for credit card payment. When entering the payment type as a credit card, the Dentrix Pay module should open to process the credit card payment, enter manually and print receipt as it does when you enter a payment transaction for a credit care. This would allow one posting to the ledger. This will be a solution if there is only one patient on the credit card

you can enter the payment into the claim, change from check payment to credit card payment; you do have to run in dentrix pay first, but I then enter into the insurance claim - but it would be nice run the dentrix pay through the claim so it post to the claim
