Currently when entering an insurance payment that is paid by the insurance company via virtual credit card payment we are having to enter as an insurance payment, then separately enter as a credit card payment and then do a debit adjustment to offset one of the charges. Also at the end of the day because of having to post virtual credit card insurance payments in this manner we have to subtract the virtual insurance credit card payments off the bottom line as it has been entered both as an insurance payment and a credit card payment.
It would be EXTREMELY helpful if when entering as an insurance payment and the drop down arrow is clicked on credit card payment that Dentrix would then connect to the credit card reader so that only one transaction has to be done for each entry as opposed to three.
