After a primary payment has paid/processed the option to send the claim to the secondary payer box pops up to send now: yes or no.
Our system has the ability to save the primary claim to dentrix (without scanning/snipping the file) When you open the secondary claim to attach the primary eob from dentrix the file is not there. After speaking with a rep from dentrix (reference number: 02157549) the scanned eob is unavailable because the file type is not accepted.
In order to upload eob document into dentrix to file the patient's secondary insurance, you will need to do one or two things: use scanner to upload primary eob document or take a snip it of the eob and save it as a jpeg file. It is very time consuming when you have to scan or snip every patient's primary eob if they have a secondary insurance.
Please update the send to dentrix file type.
