Open Dental has their ledger and communication log on the same screen. That way ALL pt communication is in one place and you don't have to click on something to find it. It is extremely helpful. You can document that the pt was told they would owe at the next appt. or that they only paid half, parents just got divorced and not to ask about it, pt has a balance, but we are waiting on ins claim, don't collect yet, etc. I miss this feature so much!!!
