There should be a standardized table with categories to enter % cov., but then there should be a table to enter exceptions. For example endo, oral perio tables that you could enter coverage at 80%, but then a table to enter specific codes for exceptions. Sometime perio is covered at 80%, but perio mtn is covered at 100%. Or oral is covered @80%, but surg. ext. are covered at 50%. That should play into how the treatment plan is calculated. It is especially important in the case of waiting periods. Open Dental has it figured out and it is so so so user friendly. The way Dentrix currently has it has caused me so much stress :(
Are there any updates as to when this will actually be considered and implemented? This was a waste of the developer's time if offices cannot actualyl use the exceptions table to automate checking for frequency limitations like every other software available
This is something that needs to be fix 100% - Why are we entering exceptions and already have a place for plan notes - Why are we wasting time for a useless feature if they do not affect the treatment estimates. I don't not understand how we are not able to downgrade fills and keep track of limited exam frequencies that are not going to be covered - Open dental - Eagle Soft etc. have had this ability for years now but Dentrix does not . I do not understand
Here are some examples!!! Love this!!!!
