allowing the patient to sign electronically on ipad instead of checking a box. this will be beneficial to new patient forms, HIPPA, financial, consent forms
An electronic signature can be added to the form once it has been downloaded back into Dentrix, and is in the Questionnaire module.

There's nothing here that will help you get a signature on your iPad. The patient and the practice will both benefit dordle from the ability to sign on the ipad. There are other dental software programs that allow ipad signatures, so it seems like this should be a top priority for the system.

it should be possible for signature capture on any computer device, use with mouse, or finger pad. NO MORE signature pad requirement that causes cross contamination

The article is not helpful for the desired signature on the ipad. Actually being able to sign on the ipad will be beneficial for both the patient and the practice. Other dental software programs have ipad signature capability, it seems like this should be a high priority fix to the system.

With more signatures needed for Covid-19 screening, this seem like a simply approach to an everyday problem. I just sign an ipad when I bought a sandwich today.

Yes!!! This would be great for new patient forms on the questionnaires as well as for updating medical history on their 6 months recalls.

Patients like to see their signature when they are signing. We currently use iPads for patients to fill out patient forms, health histories and consents. HOWEVER, they have to then walk over to a SIGNATURE pad to sign versus being able to sign right on the iPAD.
It's a lot more work on the admin end ... versus patients signing when they were done right on the ipad they have in-hand.
