All treatment plans require a signature and we are spending time printing it out getting a signature then scanning it in and then giving it back to the patient. I already propose it on the computer so I could have them sign it on the pad and print it to give back to them. Touch it 1 time not 3.
Thank you for the recommendation, we are always looking for ways to improve the product. we will consider this for a potential future release.
There are ways to sign treatment plans electronically.
To ensure we have enough details on your request, we do encourage you to contact our support team, whom can also provide our development team with further information. Support can be reached at 833-471-2273.
This is a design flaw. It seems basic to have the signature pad assigned to the treatment plan. I hope someone reads and takes these suggestions seriously.
I agree. We use our signature pad for consents. We want to use it for Treatment plans. Then we can paperless-ly put in doc center and email to parents.
This just makes sense. Why would we want to print out a consent along with the treatment plan so the patient has to keep track of 2 separate forms, not to mention wasting an extra sheet of paper. We currently add our payment options and disclaimer to our Case Notes, have the patient sign and give them a copy. The down fall is we have to print the form, have them sign, then scan it into Dentrix, which takes extra time. If we could have the patient sign the Tx Plan with ePad we would not have to scan it back in and we could also email it to the patient.
