With the latest update to the signature manager there seem to be an excessive number or "missing notes" because every hygiene patient appears to have a missing note from the dentist/additional provider. It would be helpful it the additional provider did not show as missing a note, so the "missing note count" at the top of the schedule was accurate instead of expecting two notes for these patients.
Thank you for posting to Dentrix Ideas! This feature is rolling out over the next few weeks. Please be sure to enable auto-updates to get the release as soon as it's available! Release details can always be found at https://whatsnew.dentrix.com/
The real problem is by default, Patient Chart Module/Clinical Notes opens with the patient's default provider's ID already populated, instead of the ID of User that signed into Dentrix on that PC. Your note is entered and is signed by the current user( your Hygenist) but the note is listed under the patient's default provider's ID. EVERYTIME our Hygenist/non primary provider makes a note that she/he has to sign they need to change the Default provider ID to their own!!???
THIS!!! It is so frustrating, especially now that they're displayed on the appointment book. If a clinical note is created on the appointment day, the system should be able to recognize that instead of it expecting a note from the hygienist and the doctor.
The hygienists write their notes but the dr signs them. I wish it would just show missing notes and then missing signatures. Also, some days are saying missing notes when the note is done but the note shows up not connected to the appointment.
I was so happy to have this new tool making it easier to check that notes are all signed but now populating "missing" when no note is started by other provider - what a mess
