When adding a patient to an existing Family File, it automatically populates the First Visit and Consent Signed date as that date the patient was added to the Family File. This is not helpful. I can count on one hand how many patients we have seen the same day we add them to the Family File.
Nothing has been added to the ledger and the patient doesn't have an appointment. How is it that the Dentrix system decides that is the first day of service without that information? Patients also have to be activated in order to receive confirmation reminders.
Please fix this so the First Visit and Consent Signed date can only be filled in MANUALLY on the first day the patient is actually seen in the office or on the date the Consent is signed.
