MAPI has been deprecated since Windows 10 release (2017). It's about time Dentrix remove support for it and use the established mailto: and the chosen default email client in Windows' settings.

MAPI is deprecated since 2017 in Windows 10, so why is Dentrix still using it? Most use email that is accessed via a web browser, so to send email to a patient, via Dentrix, should not be any issue in 2022, but IT IS!

Time to fix this for all paying customers.

    We are quickly approaching a decade since the deprecation of MAPI. It is not supported in the newer versions of ANY major mail client. It has been almost four years since this post originally brought this issue to your attention. Please, Dentrix. I'm begging you.
