On the Chart icon on the taskbar right click to open recent patients, just like right clicking on the Microsoft Word app does to open recent documents. You would be even capable of pinning specific patient charts to the right click menu on the taskbar.
It would be nice to be able to right click the Dentrix Launcher icon on the taskbar to open any other dentrix app installed in the computer too.

Thank you for the recommendation, we are always looking for ways to improve the product. we will consider this for a potential future release.
imagined having your list of "frequently used charts" or "pinned charts". just thinking about how much easier finding certain records it would be. also being able to search patients straight from the start menu on windows. C'mon Dentrix think outside your app for a minute, the possibilities are endless. we are on Windows 10 and we still have almost no functionality on taskbar dentrix icons!

LOOK AT THIS ATTACHED PICTURE TO SEE WHAT DENTRIX COULD DO WITH THE ICONS ON THE TASKBAR. EXPLORER TAKES PERFECT ADVANTAGE OF THIS IDEA.
Mr. Dentrix its time to think outside the app and add some features to the taskbar, you know like most moder applications do. Word, Powerpoint, Excell, Explorer, Google, etc, etc,etc...
