The default provider for the Clinical Note is based on the Primary Provider (Prov1) in the patient's Family File So even if the hygienist is logged in and the setup is set to default to whoever is logged in, the family file will determine who is on the clinical note. They have to change the provider on every patient in their chair.

Yes, our team would like to not have to change PROVIDER manually for every single patient. It would be ideal that whoever is signed into Dentrix - automatically defaults to that specific Provider :)
Yes, this is something that seems like a minor inconvenience at first, but over time it has become quite annoying. It would be a very nice QOL improvement for us as well.
