I have had a repeated problem with refiling a corrected claim after the month has closed. Patients habitually do not know their ins info. When given the wrong or incomplete ins info, it is necessary for me to change ins info on completed claims maybe months after the date of service. Dentrix makes it an ordeal by having to invalid procedures, add adjustments for charges and payments. This makes it a lengthy process. Having used Softdent for 17 years prior, it was a relatively simple process. Unfortunately today I was on hold for over 1 1/2 hours. Just to find out, I need to spend another 30 minutes correcting the problem. The next time this happens, I GET to do it again. I am very disappointed with Dentrix. I was told it would be much simpler. I have found only one feature that I consider and improvement. In my opinion it is a downgrade.
