I pick a patient and choose "send msg". I have to stop and do something else (send another pt's xrays to a doctor). Behold! There's already a journal note on the previous patient who hasn't received or been sent an actual message.

Okay, so you're working thru specific treatment and go to the the "message" icon to send a message to a patient. It pulls up the email. But, before you can actually follow thru with a message, the phone rings and you have to exit out to take care of another patient. You've not sent a message. You've only opened the email but not done anything else. It records it in the office journal as a "sent message from appointment book" or wherever you tapped it from I have to delete it manually at that point. Plus, I have to constantly stop one task to do another because that is the nature of working the front desk in a dental office. I also have to stop to answer robo calls, scam calls, and listen to perverts who like breathing at me on the phone. Yes, these things happen constantly. It throws off your train of thought as to what you were doing, etc... It's annoying. The office journal should only record "sent" messages. I hope this helps! Thank you!
