When a Pre-Auth is created and images and unusual remarks attached it can currently be submitted electronically. Some insurance do not accept the attachments, meaning we have to print the pre-auth and image and mail manually or create an email using the pre-auth from batch and attach the image, which is adding extra time and work. It would be so much easier if we could click a button that would allow this pre-auth form and attachments to be sent to an email address or at least, make it so that when you click on the pre-auth form in batch and it comes up all filled in, the attachment is added below, so you can either print this and mail or send this as a PDF via email. It seems like a small extra couple steps that would be eliminated, however the work-flow would allow CDA's and hygienists to complete this easily and effectively from the back, reducing front office work load.
