Many plans base the benefits renewal and fiscal plan year on a patients effective date. With the current options, if a patient has an effective date of 7/15 forexam, where benefits renew the following year on that date, there is no way to tell dentrix to reset benefits on the correct date. It would have to be entered for the 1st of the following month, which is inaccurate.
