We recently updated to 23.3 and can no longer send for pre-determination of claims EDI when a secondary plan is available. We have to manually submit the pre-auth to the secondary which is time consuming, paper consuming and resulting in patients having to wait longer for treatment because we have to wait for the pre-determination by mail. When we were on an older version of Dentrix we could send to both plans EDI for Basic pre-determinations. I'm told by Dentrix Support this is fixed for some on 23.3?? so then why can they not fix for our practice??
