Sometimes an appointment will start off with bitewings then end up needing an FMX. The only way support told me I could combine these was to export all the xrays then start a new FMX and import all of them. It would be nice to be able to just combine 2 without doing all of that.

Thank you for your feedback! Could you please provide more details and explain the scenario when images need to be combined?
We are using the Dentrix Smart Image. We were using Patterson

We had a patient come in that had not been seen in 2 years. Hygienist started off with BWX but when she looked at them felt that the patient was going to require SRP and so a FMX was going to be need for insurance. She preceded to take the FMX minus the BWX that was taken. Our old program we could combine the 2 by just moving them. I had to export the bwx and fmx and start a new fmx that I them imported the xrays into.
