I recently realized this is a major issue for our practice due to the number of patients that need to cancel or reschedule their appointments. There needs to be a new reminder sent when an appointment is broken and placed back on the schedule so that the patient no longer receives reminders for the "old/broken/cancelled" appointment, and so that they receive reminders for the newly rescheduled appointment. When a patient cancels their appointment, all of the information is saved to our cancellation list, and we reschedule them off of this list so that we can tell how many times a patient has moved an appointment, and any other relevant information for that appointment. We should not have to "delete" and create an entirely new appointment every time with all of the same information.
