We get military referrals for treatment but do not consider them a new patient since it is usually a one-time referral. We would like a way to see how many new patients we get per month without military referrals considered. They have a specific insurance that should be able to be filtered out.

This doesn't answer my question. When the practice advisor tells me I had 50 new patients that month, it doesn't look at billing type. It just counts anyone who was new to the practice. I'm trying to separate out the separate billing types when running the "new patient" metric. What you are basically telling me is that I have to run this billing type report every month and manually subtract out the military?
