is the Reportrix utility no longer supported. We were running a process that no longer works?

what marketplace tools work well. The Admin response has old url's that aren't linked to any products

Please keep this at the top as this is still a priority and I should not have to pay for additional services to get the data I need from the Dentrix platform.

How do we get this more attention? I'd like Dentrix to add it.

I have to agree! I am a not a dentist, I am a developer and analyst for several dentists and I KNOW full well it would be a very easy tool to create and implement. It's a money scheme, but some of the marketplace tools do work well.

There are so many really great REPORTING TOOLS available to most any database type. It would be so great if I could use my Tableau analytics tool, or simply use Crystal reports to build my own custom reports. That would require Dentrix to give us ACCESS to our own data in the way WE need. Unfortunately Dentrix has decided to make that a PROFIT center requiring you to PAY to become a partner to access the API. Seems odd to me that I cannot get access to my own database unless I pay MORE. This one issue has our Dental Group looking at other solutions. If anybody has suggestions on a comparable solution that actually has a good reporting solution or gives us access to our database so we can use the reporting tool of our choice, please respond here. Thanks! 

Needs to be top priority!

I need the ability to run a report, by provider, of every account that owes him/her money. I need to see names of guarantors, amount owed to each provider if there is an outstanding A/R balance (sort of like the provider credits report, but for outstanding balances owed)

I used DSN in my first practice and I found it's reports to be more useful than Dentrix's. I prefer Dentrix but the report section is anemic.

User-defined reports with the ability to export to CSV, Excel or even text format would be huge, and would replace many of the other reporting wishes.

I agree. Dentrix data availability and reporting is horrible... We are evaluating other systems as a result of not having access to our data.

I was able to see my production numbers very easily in EAGLESOFT. I could compare the same month year over year (i.e Feb 08 vs Feb 09 vs Feb 10). I could see production trends very easily ( via bar charts I could see production and collection numbers for every months for as many years back as I wanted). With dentrix tthese same reports are almost IMPOSSIBLE to run or really hard to do!!! ( no bar bar charts or drop down menus for dates). I Hope dentrix will improve its reporting module and make it much easier for the end-user to run reports.

I would like to get more specific information out of my reports. It would be nice to be able to customize them ourselves. For example, I would like to know the number of patients on certain insurance plans (groups) such as specific PPO plans. Year end reports do not give specific enough information and it is hard to manipulate the reports for productivity analysis.

Being able to genera production and collection reports for period of time in weekly or monthly fashon. After all we have all our production and collection come through Dentrix.

Need to allow the patients preferred name since the doctor will probably be calling this patient on his cell phone on the drive home. It would be nice to call the patient by the name the patient likes to be called. Make this list accessable on Dentrix mobile so no dialing is required. Just select the patient and call.

My autitors ask this same question year after year, how many Medicaid ,Family Health Plus ect. patients were seen last year.Our office converted to Dentrix from Softdent in 2007, we were able to pull this information from Softdent, please help.

Dentrix - your reporting solutions were amazing 20+ years ago. Please look into integrating ANYTHING to allow users to build custom reports... i.e. SQL Query, Impromptu, Informix, eBO, QueryStudio, QueryAnalyzer, etc etc. Provide a data dictionary to inform us where and what is in all your database tables so we can intelligently build our reports. WIth UDS and grant funding - WE HAVE TO GET information out of the system which is extremely if not impossible to get. Better yet, please build and update all the UDS required reporting data reports for your customers. That would be awesome.

We are a referral practice. As an example, I'd like to search for new patients with no correspondance in their document center. This will help us not miss important communications to or referring dentists.
