Definitely agree that more Journal Entry Types are necessary...some listed currently don't even pertain in our office.

Office journal is great for tracking events for a patient, but needs a bit more integration with other areas to help users be most efficient. Ie:

There are many communication types today so only having the basic 4 is cumbersome. Please add more "Types": Email, Text, Mail, In Person, ... and color coding is always great.

Allow custom Types for Office Journal Entry at minimum to include Email option. OJ should be linked to Family File to allow contact info.

Yes please! Custom types and color coding! It would be so easy to pick out the journal entries we are looking for easily. The journal can get so cluttered and tedious to review.

Need to be able to add custom types and we do need full names of the people making the notes

Also, would prefer that the OJ creator could be specified by Initials rather than Prov or Staff Number. its difficult for a large or small office to remember who each number is and you just want to know who had the communication real quickly if you are on the phone with a patient.

There really needs to be more types of OJ entries at least, EMAIL/TEXT in addition to phone call and memorandum. Email or Text from Patient Engage should pop up in OJ as well as having sent a text or email.

Please enlarge the Info screen. There is so much wasted space and it will eliminate the need to scroll down to read the note.

Wonderful idea and while you are at it, i have been asking for this years now....tie patient payments to specific claims like insurance payments.

Also, ADD PATIENT INFO WITH PHONE NUMBER/EMAIL. We can't just open the OJ and contact a patient, the info isn't there. We should be connected to the Family File, eDex or More Information. And have the ability to direct dial, text or email. AND we should be able to directly import digital patient communications- such as text & emails..

Oh yes! I'd love to see this.  I document emails and letters sent in the OJ and I always have to assign them the type "Miscellaneous." I'd love to see an "email" or "correspondence" option.
