We have a quite a large base of patients in the LGBTQIA+ community. We have been receiving a lot of negative comments about not being able to input preferred pronouns on our patient forms. This is becoming quite detrimental and discouraging to our practice.
Please add an option to add Preferred Pronouns to all patient forms as a blank space. Something like:
Preferred Pronouns: __________
We feel this should be a quick 15 minute IT fix that could solve a lot of issues in offices across this platform. And we are quite displeased that it is 2024 and Dentrix STILL doesn't have this option. Not to mention that the "Other" option under "Gender" is the current "fix" for this issue. Gender and Pronouns are drastically different and Dentrix needs to know this.
