Since the update to how new patients are created, the referral box is no longer mandatory. Since it is not mandatory now, my reports are a mess since my front desk staff doesn't enter the referral (either forgetting or just skipping). It would have been nice if you were going to meet the needs of those who complained it was mandatory- to make it a toggle on/off so that offices that were utilizing that field for marketing purposes could turn it back on making it mandatory for their staff to complete that field.
nevermind- can't delete this. tech support called me back to tell me they misinformed me and that I just needed to "turn off" in preferences and then turn back on the require referral for new patients and that would reset so that it would function properly.
