The new update will not allow us to change the first visit date. It grays it out too soon.

Thank you for your post! What you describe is by design. The first visit now automatically updates as soon as the patient's first procedure is completed. Yes his is terrible update. We should be able to fix the first visit date for accuracy otherwise the new patient count will be completely off.
except when a patient has no treatment entered it still stays grayed out with the wrong date
Except it's a horrible design because it gets the date wrong sometimes.
