You need to remove the update where "non-patients" turn into patients after their first visit.
A patient is not technically a patient until they have had a new patient exam. Coming in for specs, or emergency exams, does not make a person a patient. A dentist is not obligated to see this patient until the patient has had the appropriate exam, thus making them a NON-PATIENT if they have not received it.
To make matters even worse, after we have changed them BACK to non-patient, and they come in again for a follow up appointment, you set it BACK to patient. I can't even explain how frustrating this is. You guys are creating chaos. You are causing more work, over and over and over again. You are erasing the years of work we have put into ensuring the correct patients are marked as non-patient and patient. You need to fix this. You should not be making updates when you have no idea have the dental field works.
