A separate ledger for patient by one or more responsible parties and one separate ledger for insurance balance due. This would be especially helpful for orthodontic payment plans as well as regular payment plans where more than one person is responsible (ie divorced parents). This ledger should have separate tabs for total transactions, ones assigned to each family member and insurance.
