Its really frustrating that the new update includes Dentrix assuming where the deductible will apply. I used to be able to speed through entering payments, but now I have to determine where insurance is taking the deductible from AND make sure that it's not being auto-deducted from another code by the system. Its a huge inconvenience and waste of time.
Switch it back to the way it was and add a box for the deductible when itemizing instead of where you enter the check number.

This. Ever since the update, Dentix assumes incorrectly that the deductible applies to a code which doesn't match the right code on the insurance Explanation of Benefit. Plus, Dentrix will applie the deductible on D4910 when often times it should not apply.
