Recare Reminders Shouldn't go to Patients Who Already Have an Appointment

Why are patients being asked to book a recare appointment if they already have one on the books? The recare reminder feature needs to be sent only to patients without a scheduled recare appointment. This makes the office look like we don't know that the patient has an appointment, causes confusion, and generally makes the patient worry.
