I have been asking this to be implemented for over 15 years!. Hopefully it does get implemented before I retire.

Still waiting for this to be implemented. Without more space, we are required to abbreviate, which can cause more questions. This seems like a simple enough request that can have a very real impact on the patient's understand and possibly prevent confusion and unnecessary calling of the office.

We need more characters in the Billing Statement Notes like the one in the office manager labeled as statement messages. The Billing Statement Note from the G note needs to be moved below the amount owed on the billing statement.

we need more comments in the statement message filed AND the office journal to default to FAMILY VIEW vs patient view.

We definitely need more characters for this. It would be better to have more room for individual statement notes verses statement messages. It's such a pain right now!

I would love to be able to explain on the billing statements where patients' balances are coming from. Unfortunately, there's hardly any space.

To allow more characters in billing statement notes on individual statements.

there already is a billing note under the guar note. There is a date under it and it will print that note until that date. I just wish it was a larger font.

What we need for the billing statement notes is the ability to use more characters. I use notes to explain why they are being billed, but if I can't finish my sentence, it is frustrating. Not sure why Dentrix created the up & down arrows on the right of the box if they can never be used. Now that they upgraded, having statement notes to choose from, that really doesn't help when creating your own notes because you are still being limited by character amounts allowed. Please let us write more! Thanks!

This is not an uncommon request - I'm interesting in your feedback regarding the implementation of the enhancement. How many characters should be allowed - what should happen if the billing note is verbose enough to extend into the itemized transactions on the statement?

I don't think there should be a character limit. The font is small enough (& the perfect font size, don't change it!) to fit quite a bit from "DATE" through the end of the paper "CREDITS" However, at this moment, it pretty much ends after "DESCRIPTION". We don't want to write stories about why they are being billed. We just want to finish our sentences. Example: "Your insurance did not cover the fluoride treatment due to age limitations. Balance is the patient portion." This does not fit. It ends at "Balanc". I think that if a note is too long it would be up to the staff's discretion on how to edit it to fit on the billing statement. Thanks!

I totally agree. You can fit quite a but more though if you go to Office manager - reports-billing, and put your note in there and then go back to the patients ledger and print the statement. Kind of a pain but workable until Dentrix upgrades

We would love if we could fit at least 3 times more characters on the statement note. There is usually only room for 1 sentence, a couple would be nice. Also, larger font would be helpful, the note is not very noticeable. We usually have to highlight it so the patient actually sees it.
