Perio Charting - add bleeding to all measured teeth

If there is bleeding on all IPs, there should be a way to highlight all teeth and click a quick button that would add bleeding on the IPs of all teeth measured.

I agree that being able to select multiple teeth and add or delete bleeding and suppuration would be immensely helpful.

One of our hyg asked for this option today, and I did not see that this feature was added. Is it in the works? It would be helpful to mark all sites for a heavy bleeding pt, and then uncheck the few sites that are not bleeding. It would be a beneficial update!

Great idea, thanks for submitting it!.............................................

Any progress towards this option? I don't know of an RDH that would not like it. Very time consuming to do it this way. Other systems have better options. Total disregard for the Hygienist!

My hygienist is asking for this as well today.

My hygienist is very disappointed that this software does not have this feature:(

I have mixed feelings about this... I do get tired of my hygienist overusing this feature on other software. I much rather have specific bleeding sites because not very often you have a patient with 168 sites bleeding but some RDHs just rather click all sites then chart every specific pocket because its more time consuming.

Our hands and wrists are fatigued enough doing our clinical works shouldn’t need to stress them any more by repeatability clicking a mouse button.  Need Generalized and generalized I/P

Please add a button for generalized bleeding

same thing with probing depths would like a quick button that would for instance post 323 on all teeth. Then we could easily just change one or two if needed

Both comments from "susie" and "Missy Williams" are great i.e. big time saver potential. Please F/U on these issues. Thanks.

The letter "B" will record bleeding on the specific site. Is this what you are after, or are you looking for something a little different?

Bleeding is one of the most import indicators of gingival imflammation. The total number of bleeding sites to be recorded are as many as probing depth sites, if in the case of advanced peridontitis. Possibly up to 192 (6x32) mouse clicks. There must be an easier and time saving method to enter all this information.

in dentrix 11 we had a script for entering bleeding. This needs to be entered after a quadrant of probings to allow time for the bleeding to be visible if it is going to occur. An option to enter 100% bleeding in a given quadrant would be helpful. This occurs often in patients with uncontrolled periodontal disease. Version 11 was so much more functional for perio charting.

florida probe: ctl-B causes all teeth to show bleeding condition

The ability to go back to record bleeding after the teeth have been probed is paramount. For example: I probe teeth 2 -15 buccal, then I look to see what is bleeding (you have to wait for it to show in some cases). To choose bleeding on 3M, 5MFD and 11D, I have to click on each tooth (but it HAS to be in the PD field to choose the right tooth!) and then go over to the data entry section, and choose which PD's are bleeding. In the competition (I won't name them) the user has the ability to click on a bleeding 'lock' and then quickly go through and click all individual areas that are bleeding, or all 3 areas on each tooth or even every reading in the mouth. A clear bleeding when creating a new exam from a previous exam would be helpful as well.

It is a pain to have to do "ctl-B" for each individual tooth that has bleeding, especially those that have bleeding throughout. Would love to have it that we can either high light the quad, side, or full mouth and click one button to have the areas filled in with bleeding throughout.
