You can treatment plan them but they don't show on the the chart. It would be great to have some way of showing on the chart. For those who do not know you can treatment plan those extractions by adding 50 to the tooth #that needs to be extracted. I have attached the supernumerary tooth chart that I have gotten claims paid with. See attached.

Also adding the ability to import other charting images and the option of where to place in the chart- root, crown, apex or above/below..... It would be super awesome to have the ability to edit the 'cartoon' chartings to reflect more of what we actually see,

The Chart AND Periochart  must reflect supernumerary as well as retained primary teeth!!! If charted incorrectly by "making due " we will run into history violations with insurance companies.

Do you mean in addition to the permanent tooth? It is possible to show primary teeth....

Other pathology would be nice too. Teeth are not the only things that we look at.

Customizing/creating charting symbols would allow for creating a symbol for a supernumerary tooth.

We would love this feature... we have several patients on which we have attempted to "draw in" additional teeth using the chart notations feature, and they look unprofessional at best. We also use this to draw on permanently bonded retainers and space maintainers. We would love to see those actually show up in the chart. I think that everything you can chart as existing conditions and/or treatment plan should be able to show up graphically in the tooth chart.

There needs to be a way for implant site nomenclature : example IMP19, means there is implant at site #19. Just like supernumerary SN19.

It would be helpful to have it on the actual tooth chart not just in the progress notes. The doctor just wants to walk in the room and see the tooth chart and see what is going on from that without scrolling through progress report notes.

It would be helpful to chart primary teeth still in and chart a perm tooth erupting ling or buccal to that tooth for pedo offices.

It would be great if the supernumerary teeth not only showed up on the charting, but also to be able to periochart them as well.

While it is possible to add a supernumerary tooth if there's a procedure attached, i.e., extracting #52...this is not helpful if there's no procedure that needs to be done! We definitely need to just show that it's there...just like you can post a "missing tooth", you should be able to show "supernumerary tooth".

To number supernumerary teeth and is supported with Dentrix the numbers change from 1-32 to 51-82. This will show with a U on the regular position. It would be nice to show an extra tooth in Dentrix instead of the U.

Supernumerary teeth occur often enough and should be included in your charting module as a draw type (see Eaglesoft)
