automatically save a copy of an email sent out to a pt in their journal or doc center
When creating an email from the family file, currently in the journal it just says message sent - it would be GREAT if the message typed was saved into their journal or document center automatically
yes, and also when you send a quick letter - have it save the letter automatically!

This would help us meet the new HIPAA/HITech requirements to be able to give an accounting of our electronic disclosures of PHI!

I agree. Show the letter or email that is saved in the journal to show the patient you have sent them the correspondence that they have not received.

Have the ability to choose where to save a copy of the message; Office Journal, Clinical Notes or Doc Center.

When creating an doc referral, it would be GREAT if the message typed was saved into their journal or document center automatically

I think this would be the best way to save time. In addition letters and all treatment plans should automatically save to document center!

Once you have sent an email, you should be able to describe what the email was regarding. Either include the contents in the doc center or at least let us edit to manually include it.

That the subject of the email will show in office journel. Now is just states that an email was sent. Need more information recorded.

I would like a fast way to see what text messages our office sends out to a patient so I can reply to messages accurately without having to guess and research. It should be more like a phone that you would text from. I want to see the entire conversation between me and the patient.

When we need to email a patient, we find ourself first creating a quick letter, then copying and pasting into email to send. Office journal should have a pull down carrot for "email" and it would be nice if it would automatically paste the body of email into the note section. Otherwise, when in OJ, and you see an email was sent, you have to go out to that Outlook of that team members email, search by date and subject to see what all they sent. Too much work.

It would be nice to have the message that I sent via email to pt to show in the journal
