Allow for a linked duplicate of an appointment to be added to the ASAP list. When an opening develops, prompt user to fill with someone from the ASAP list. When you select the appointment, the other one (further in future) is deleted.

The ASAP list should be smarter. Adding to this suggestion I would suggest that every treatment planned procedure be added to the list. Should there be an appointment available, we should be able to tell the list we want to look up ASAp pts or unscheduled and it can give a printable list of pts who fit the opening criteria. Also they should come off the list when the pt treatment is posted.
