Dentrix Ideas

Be able to place someone on the ASAP/Unscheduled list without having a scheduled appointment.

Be able to place an unscheduled or new patient on the ASAP/Will Call list. Somone who wants in, but can't for quite some time.

I can't believe there isn't a cancelation list or needs apt ASAP list that you can just pull up and add patents name and procedure.

It would be FANTASTIC if dentrix would provide an alert/pop up when booking an appointment letting you know that benefit maximums will be reached with that appointment. Please :)

Hey y'all. You can always type the word ASAP in the Appt Description, in front of the description of the appt and then make the appt notes as to their personal preference. It has helped me many times fill a schedule. It will stand out on your list when you pull it up the unscheduled.

Perhaps, in the interim, add an option to display a column for "Schedule" on the Unscheduled List to see if it is ASAP, FIXED, OPEN.

How this is not already in place in crazy. It's been talked about for almost 3 years, says "likely to implement"- yet still NOTHING! We "force"patients to make appt 3 months out that they don't really want so that we can have them on the ASAP list. Causes nothing but problems!

In addition to this, make it possible to edit unscheduled appts from the More Info button rather than having to open the unscheduled list separately. Just like we can open existing and past appointments from the More Info box, we should be able to open that unscheduled appointment block to make notes/changes as well!

This would be so helpful!! Currently we have an asap binder where we have to manually keep track of patients wanting sooner.

If you add someone to the will call list they don't need an apt. You can view them in the unscheduled list under a seperate catagory W/Call

Having any sort of waiting list for people who are not scheduled and genuinely are wanting to get in (not just the unscheduled list) would be great.

Please! This would be so helpful. Often times we have patients with only 1
or 2 days of availability and beyond that, they cannot commit to an
    appointment. Great idea to implement.

Also - it would be nice to be able to sort the ASAP/Will Call List by different categories, such as the date that the patient was put on the list. This way, patients could be called based on first-come-first-serve basis instead of the date of their scheduled appointment.

I usually will break the appointment. Then it shows up on the unscheduled list. Still the only way to find it is to open the unscheduled list and hunt for it by date. It would be nice if we could sort the unscheduled list by other criteria, such as name.

also the asap list must be more than 99 days!!

Many patients choose not to schedule too far out because they aren't sure of their schedule for that period of time. In theory, I appreciate that they aren't booking an appointment they may not be able to keep. The wait/will call feature is too frequently used for those patients that are not as treatment motivated as the ASAP listed patient.

Agreed, I find my staff using asap but not unscheduled to try to fill asap and than we are frantically trying to fill the schedule. Or Fake apts are being made just to get them on the asap list.

I agree wholeheartedly! Does no one else find this extremely frustrating when you can't search for a NP's appt? Dentrix: PLEASE change this!

We were able to merge the ASAP list with the Unscheduled List by creating an Appt Reason and ASAP procedure code. This allows us to attach it to the appointment, say "wait/will call" and have it go to the unscheduled list. As a result we can see it and it's not on the appointment book and not getting contacted for an appointment. However the Unscheduled List becomes the ASAP list that way, so it would be neat to see a filter of some sort in the views or in letters to be able to create a list.

Patient calls in and wants an appointment next week. We do not have an appointment available so we want to put them on ASAP list

ALSO, it would be real helpful to have a 3 digit day "Span of Search". Especially at the end of the year when we a re fully booked and someone is scheduled in January or February and is not visible to the ASAP LIST, due to being scheduled over 99 days out.
