There is no way to tell who has been contacted on the Unscheduled List, because of this, it's taking a lot of time to go through each appointment and read the notes so we are not calling a patient every day.
Super disappointed in new updated with the unscheduled list. It is a pain to go through and takes forever as the appointments drop to the bottom after you click and make your notes. Not sure why they updated it. Wish they would go back to the old way!! It is not efficient at all!
Notes. In the journal and the actual appt will tell you if this patient has been contacted and is actually part of their file. That is how you tell if they have been contracted. You have the ability to add a status to your Dentrix and name it what you want.
We never use the unscheduled list except for nonpatients (so I can see who made an appt as a new patient and didn't show up). If a patient cancels, I just go in and manually adjust their cont care to a week, month, or when I need to (some patients undergo chemo and such things or go out of town for a week or two, etc... so I tailor it to what they say). I've always found that list to be redundant and really not worth the effort when I can so easily work around it from another area.
In addition to this, make it possible to edit unscheduled appts from the More Info button rather than having to open the unscheduled list separately. Just like we can open existing and past appointments from the More Info box, we should be able to open that unscheduled appointment block to make notes/changes as well!
Perhaps a Contacted Status, similar to the CC system, that can be customized. like, 1st call, 2 week call, PWCB=pt will call back, Post card sent, Letter sent......
I usually put the date and a note that I called to schedule directly into the appt. therefore, when I'm working my unsch. list all my notes are right there.
we don't utilize the unscheduled list due to this problem, no way of documenting the date (s) that you may have offered them already. I would like to start using it, but doesn't seem very user friendly to me
i just have journal up and check notes on each patient. Or I can go to my Solution Reach and see complete history on patient reminders and patient responses! It's awesome!

Not liking the update for the unscheduled list. Don't like the format with the spacing. It take too much time to go thru the list.
