In open dental it allows for users to highlight the entire chart, or slected teeth to add data that applies to all teeth / surfaces. For instant if I highlighted the entire chart and typed the letter "P" the teeth selected would have plq charted for all surfaces, "b" for bleeding on all surfaces, "S" for suppuration and "C" for calculus. the following also works for deleting information - I could highlight teeth and hit "delete" and information would be cleared if it no longer applies or if i wanted to remove it. Making charting super fast and effective.
