When our hygienists open the Perio window, if they forget to click the "create new exam" button, entering in numbers starts to automatically overwrite the previous perio chart instead of creating a new one. To help with efficiency and the accuracy of our records, it would be ideal if starting to enter in numbers creates a new perio chart for today's date instead of overwriting an existing one. Additionally, our hygienists suggest that the previous perio chart date should be locked by default, instead of automatically overwriting, so that it's not so easy to accidentally erase data.

Yes!! I came here to post the same thing! We are having issues with nothing saved for dates we did charting because we thought we were automatically getting saved to a new date when we typed in new numbers! Its a huge issue! Nothing should be able to be "deleted"/changed after its been saved from another day.
