Allow for us to separate family files when there are "open claims" especially when each individual has their own insurance plan.
It's not convenient to have to delete claims or pre-authorization's in order to separate their files. Claims should follow patient regardless.

Our office has a few couples that we need to separate but can't as well. Due to either there is claims out, or the patient owes on the visit. So, we can not separate them due to a balance owed or claims are out to insurance. This really puts a hold on statements that are sent to these patients because the total owed isn't the correct amount owed.
