Bring back the "Prov" column when searching a patient.

The latest August 2024 removed the "Prov" which helped users determine which provider the patient belongs to when searching patients (Select Patient).

We want the Prov column back. The search feature update was a terrible decision.

Thank you for your feedback on the removal of the 'Prov' column. Can you share more about how knowing the provider associated with a patient is important while working in the "Select Patient" window? Understanding this will help us evaluate the impact of the change on your workflow.

In addition to the uses noted in other comments, it is useful to easily see the provider for something as simple as returned snail mail. In an office with multiple providers, it was so nice to be able to type in the name on a returned statement to quickly see which provider they belonged to, place the envelope in that stack, type in the next name, add that envelope to a different stack, and so on with out having to open and close family file multiple times.

We have multiple patients with same name, so we have to open the account now to see which dr they belong to, so we don't schedule with the wrong dr. I really don't know why it was removed in the first place.

We often have to play "detective". Sometimes a patient calls and leaves a message with only their first name (Jane, for example), and no phone number comes through. We have several doctors at our clinic. Jane happens to have indicated which Dr she belongs to, and it is an urgent matter she has called about. If we have to look up all of the Janes to figure out who she is, it is a huge help to be able to filter by provider. This is just one, small example of how the provider column is helpful. There are other times it is useful, just cannot think of them right now. Thank you.
