We do not activate new patients until they arrive for their appointment that way if they no-show, we do not keep them in our system. This system has been in place since we started Dentrix. Addtionally, we keep all patients that have not been seen in three years listed as "inactive," which allows us to schedule them accordingly and give them the proper paperwork at their next appointment. Neither of these two types of patients are currently getting appointment reminders when they did with the old E-central program that we were forced to switch from. This is a major inconvenience.
