Being able to search for events similarly to the appointment search. Our office uses events to notate various pieces of information and it would be helpful to be able to see that information at a quick glance instead of clicking through the calendar/clicking on the notes for each individual appointment.

yes! We do this too. I also want to delete an obsolete operatory to clean up our appointment book but all events must be moved to another operatory or deleted. I have been through my appointment book every day for the last 6 years and can't find the one event that is in that column so I can't delete the operatory. VERY frustrating.
