Can you please change the default to show all journal entries and not just the past year? We shouldn't have to individually go into each patient and change it to put in a year to see all the journal notes. They should all just populate right away.

It's fine to have the year populate but you should be able to save <ALL> as a default if you want to.

Thank you for your post. We have missed information due to thinking there was no history in the journal. Also, we have used the default, but when we go out of that journal and go back in, the default does not save. It's a risky problem for us.

You can change it go as far back as you'd like, however there is only a feature to save that default to that one person whose journal you are in. It would be helpful if there was a standard default for all your active patient's journals that you can put a start date of 05/05/2005 to show all the journal entries for everyone and save it that way. Especially when that is where we do a lot journaling on keeping track of how many times we call patients for treatment or recare appointments, or insurance issues, etc.

If I understand your question correctly, you want all entries to prepopulate. This is something you can do by changing the default setting date. Most people change it to show only a year or so as it takes a very long time for the OJ to load due to so much information being populated.
