In the Patient Chart's "Progress Notes" view, there is a series of 8 buttons to toggle filters for entry types in Progress Notes. Much like Fold/Unfold All buttons in the Document Center, Select/Deselect All buttons would allow us to get to a view of only one type quickly, then return to showing all types. Currently this is a step that takes ~7 clicks to show one type, and ~7 more to return to a full view of Progress Notes.
Why is this important? Dentistry is moving toward heavy use of diagnostic codes. Dentrix's Conditions entry type is already in place, however it is too difficult to see a list of only the patient's conditions. (See the YouTube video of Dr. Larry Weed from 1971 to understand the importance of formulating a Problem List, underscoring the important role of Dentrix's "Conditions" entry type.)
