I am not liking the new update with sending claims. It goes right into the document center instead of printing. My IT found this is a mandatory feature and there are no options to set it to an office's personal preference.

I agree. I made a request as well. The CDA user guide also requires us to give the EOB copy to the patient. A copy for our records was meant to be in addition. Not sure why Dentrix figured the patients copy was no longer required.
