We are trying to find ways to update our perio charting to better suit the needs of our patient and team members.
-GM can not be reported as a negative number. Negative numbers would accurately reflect health of the gums. Previous systems that I have used utilized letters for negative numbers. "q" was -1, "w" was -2, "e" was -3 ect, - Having the GM pre-filled in with 0's when opening a new perio chart. Most of the time the GM value is 0, so it was help expedite the charting if we just had to change the areas that are not 0
