To do this with the mouse using the pen is very difficult and requires an extremely steady hand. Having a text option would be a godsend!! (By the way, we have used Dentrix since 1993.)

Thank you for the recommendation, we are always looking for ways to improve the product. we will consider this for a potential future release.
Check out both of the attachments: top is before; bottom is what Chart Notations "could" look like if this feature was added... This is the way to make critical medical alerts ALWAYS VISIBLE on the patient chart, the way they were with paper charting when we would use a red marker! This is important...please vote!
