Recession charting should move along in perio chart
It is time consuming and annoying to have to manually move to the next area when charting recession measurements instead of moving automatically along as it does when perio charting pocket measurements.
I have always wondered if I was doing this “the hard way”.
Thank you for verifying that I’m not the only one having this issue. It’s time consuming and problematic to mark PD, gingival margin, BOP, furcations and mobility to record a full mouth comprehensive perio chart. My dentists don’t seem to understand how much time this really takes (especially in a poorly set up operatory) because they only mark PD and have an assistant.
