To be able to print an appointment card instead of hand writing them. It is similar to a label printing machine that would print the appointment card for the patient. Eaglesoft and Xceldent both have this option, would be nice if Dentrix jumped on board as well.

This actually exists. Our office uses the dymo printers that we were already using while we were with Eaglesoft. When you are on the appointment book, you simply right click the appointment you want a card for, scroll to 'Quick Labels' then select *Selected Appt Reminder Label, click print.
Obviously, you need to make sure that you have your printer settings correct in the Printer Setup tab so it sends this to the dymo or label printer of choice.
